Empowering Ethnic Communities to explore their creativity and experience the emerging world of virtual production first-hand

Purpose

The Virtual Production Dojo – Ethnic Creatives Scholarship is the first of its kind scholarship aimed to empower and support the creatives from Ethnic Communities globally, through talent development and upskilling for those either working in or entering the Screen, Media, Game Development, Emerging Digital Technology industries.

 Details

The Virtual Production Dojo – Ethnic Creatives Scholarship will be awarded towards the tuition fees of the courses offered through the Virtual Production Dojo portfolio.

  • C.V.P.M: a total of 5 eligible candidates will receive up to 40% of the total tuition fees covered* for the Certificate in Virtual Production Methodologies 12-week program. Each candidate also qualifies to receive the Reallusion 3D Character and Animation Software Bundle worth $2000 USD. (*The final scholarship percentage will be decided and confirmed to eligible individuals and is at the discretion of VPD board)

  • RIC-CCIC: a total of 5 eligible candidates will receive up to 30% of the total tuition fees covered* for the Reallusion Intensive Certificate 4-week program. Each candidate also qualifies to receive the Reallusion 3D Character and Animation Software Bundle worth $2000 USD. (*The final scholarship percentage will be decided and confirmed to eligible individuals and is at the discretion of VPD board)

The scholarship priorities focuses on Creatives identifying with the Ethnic Communities and are able to evidence and satisfy the following criteria:

 

  1. Identify as an Ethnic Person* while residing in their country of residency
  2. Evidence of creative practice over the last 12 months
  3. Professional Portfolio
  4. A brief statement to explain why you are an appropriate candidate for the scholarship

*Note: Ethnic Community member is defined as being a member of an ethnic group, especially of a group that is a minority within a larger society
